We’re a hard rock trio from Ithaca, NY who love what we do because we do what we love: making music! We hope that our music can be as much of a passion for you as it is for us.
Formed in early 2018, we have gone through many lineup changes, scrapped many songs, and put in countless hours of hard work to bring our listeners music that we are proud of. But through every lineup change over the years, the three of us have always stuck together. In the end, we decided to figure out how to be a trio, and through a lot of trial and error, we found the perfect setup.
Our singer, Myst, tried learning bass, and our bassist, Lite, tried switching to guitar, while our drummer, Snow, tried learning both in order to help write. Several weeks later, we realized this wasn’t working. After even more research and testing, we found what we needed by looking to Royal Blood. By using a specific assortment of pedals, we were able to make one bass act as both a bass and a guitar!
Our first show was September 7th, 2023 at Deep Dive in Ithaca, NY with Cobra Cadaver, Pelican Movement, and Beams. At this show, we shattered the mold and gave a strong, powerful performance! Meet The Band

Snow
Snow is the drummer and founder of the band. He has been playing drums since he was about thirteen and was mentored through high school by David Ferreira. Snow prides himself on his fast and tight playing that leads to the quality we strive for. His inspirations include James “The Rev” Sullivan (Avenged Sevenfold) and Nicko McBrain (Iron Maiden).
Snow is also the band’s financial manager, being the most financially literate and responsible of us all.

Myst
Myst is the singer and front person of the band. As time goes on their vocals and lyrics proceed to get more complex and vicious with no end in sight. When it comes to influences you may hear bits and pieces of other artists but Myst tries to do their own thing.
Myst is also the artist of the band, creating the logos, album covers, and merch designs. Myst also does their own personal art that you can find on their social media.

Lite
Lite is the bassist/guitarist of the band, taught by Jeff Howell (Foghat, Outlaws). Lite takes a more unique approach to playing, inspired by Royal Blood, by using a bass to create both guitar and bass tones for our music. He is inspired by a varied assortment of artists including Primus, Black Sabbath, Dio, Jack Stauber, and Iron Maiden among many others.
Lite is also the band’s public relations and marketing Manager, having experience with doing PR for the Alfred State E-sports team when. Most Shrouded Prey videos and photos as well as some of the graphic design elements seen for promotional content are shot, created and/or edited by Lite.
